Notes of Provence in the Interior of an English Country House
Country houses come in various forms, for example, such as light and cozy ones like this charming cottage in Suffolk, England. The interior is decorated with elements of Provencal style. Centuries ago, people from the Provence region in France aimed to make their rooms bright and visually more spacious, so the main feature of Provencal style is pastel tones. It's hard to imagine such an interior without aged items and lavender, which not only decorates the house but also spreads its divine scent throughout. However, this Anglo-French interior is only partly Provencal; it also includes classic and modern touches. A country house is hard to imagine without a barn door and a cozy garden or veranda. The front door here is substantial, with a forged handle but in a soft light gray tone. The veranda is full of flowers and truly embodies English hospitality and comfort. A very warm and homey interior!
