Wooden Alpine Lodge House with Modern Design9 photos
A small but very cozy and inviting cabin was built in the mountains of South Tyrol, Italy, at an altitude of 1400 meters. This project was developed by experts from EM2 Architekten studio and named the Alpine Lodge. The house actually consists of two buildings: this cozy living room and an attached studio. One of the most interesting features of the living room is the wall with a glass partition. This allows owners to connect with the magnificent views and enjoy the wild nature. All windows in the house are long and no wider than a wooden plank.
The reason for this is safety and reducing heat loss. The first floor includes a kitchen and living room with a cozy relaxation area formed by a black sofa, armchair, and coffee table. A glass partition is installed in the front part between them, offering views of the forest and mountains. The upper floor contains a private area with two bedrooms and a bathroom.
