This family moved from a large mansion into a house with a fairy-tale facade, wanting their new home to be more compact and interesting. The 1916-built cottage became a bright and cozy family nest. The owners admit that the hardest part was maintaining a balance between modernity and the atmosphere of the past century. They succeeded brilliantly: the house features new furniture and finishes, yet thanks to a lot of plants and cute little touches, it feels warmly homey. It's amazing how they managed to make this interior simple and light yet carefully planned, where every item complements the others. A wonderful project!
