House by the Lake in Ohio State

The Butler family, owners of this house in Ohio, USA, never intended to buy real estate; but one day the head of the family came across an advertisement for the sale of this house by the lake and fell in love with it at first sight. The log cabin was built on the edge of Pleasant Hill Lake in 2003. The house did not require major changes, but according to the owner, the interior needed to be made "warmer and cozier." So the walls became white, the house filled with lovely details, pastel-toned textiles, and cozy accessories. The heart of the house is the backyard and dock: here the close-knit and very large family enjoys gathering for barbecues and playing cards on the cozy porch, bathed in candlelight.
