Modern townhouses designed in 2014 by the architecture studio Martin Friedrich Architects are located on the Melbourne beachside in the suburb of Brighton. Responding to the demands of Melbourne's internal market for maximizing built-up area and creating small, efficient open spaces, two large, three-story townhouses were designed by Martin Friedrich Architects that comfortably fit on the site of one demolished old house. The minimalist contemporary design provides a comfortable indoor-outdoor living space with a large, fully glazed open kitchen, dining room, and lounge.
