But that wasn't the case with this Swedish rooftop apartment. The designer not only managed to brilliantly zone the space and arrange furniture, but also brought the feel of a country house into an urban flat. All thanks to the old beam ceiling refreshed with white paint, a wood stove fireplace, and a home library. The combination of light and dark tones also works beautifully here — such a balance gives the interior its own unique style. Yes, there isn't as much natural light as one might like, but that doesn't stop the apartment from being absolutely cozy!
