Apartment with Glass Shower in Kyiv

Studio FILD Design Thinking Company designed the interior of an 82 square meter apartment in the RYBALSKY residential complex in Kyiv, Ukraine. The goal of the project was to create a spacious and serene space that resonates with the owner's worldview in an unmistakable, timeless appearance.

The color palette is predominantly composed of monochromatic tones. Gray shades combined with muted brown oak tones create a calm atmosphere. The main contribution to the color scheme comes from the matte black kitchen. Cabinet fronts from the kitchen to the wardrobe illustrate a single line connecting the apartment plan. Standard kitchen cabinets were deliberately removed from the design composition to emphasize the lightness of the entire furniture set.

A partially glazed bathroom is the central element of the interior and separates the main area from the bedroom. Its monolithic body is made of textured tiles covering the entire bathroom space, including shelves, walls and ceiling, providing ideal conditions for placing accessories. The glass breaks up solid walls and ensures visually open connection with minimal noise level. Water-repellent fabric curtains can be adjusted using a remote control.
