Hollywood Transformation: How a Thoughtless Interior Became a Stylish Family Nest in California
According to the designer, this house in Newport Beach, near Los Angeles, was in a very sad state. The layout was poorly planned, the floors were made of low-quality material, and the faucets were located in inconvenient places. But the neighborhood and view were wonderful, which is exactly why the family with children chose this house. The designer faced a big task not only to relocate utilities and create a quality "base," but also to design an interior that balances modern design and stylish farmhouse. This was exactly what the owners wanted. We think the concept was fully successful — here, lightweight glass structures and a wooden beam ceiling are skillfully combined, while vibrant tiles, wallpapers or chandeliers harmonize with simple furniture. The pool and barbecue area are especially captivating — just like in Hollywood movies. This is simultaneously recognizable California style and an interior with unique details!
