Abundance of Details and Concrete Walls: An Unusual Scandinavian Interior by a Creative Couple
Today we feature a Stockholm interior that clearly stands out from typical Scandinavian apartments. First of all, it’s filled with abundant decoration and details—something quite surprising to see in a Swedish home, where the world has long been shaped by minimalist simplicity. But the owners, an interior decorator and her husband, simply adore unique, fashionable decorative items. Also, the apartment is quite small, yet they wanted to fit in as much as possible.
Another striking feature is the exposed concrete wall—Scandinavians usually prefer paint or wallpaper. Still, there’s something unmistakably northern here: a color palette dominated by gray tones, which might seem too cool for some, but not for Swedes.
