This house in Australia has a very unusual appearance: from the street it is a brick building in Victorian style, while from the backyard it features a modern and stylish facade with columns. The interior tells an even more complex story, mixing styles and textures. It's hard to imagine how a large white staircase with a smooth surface would blend with a complex ceiling moldings pattern. Or how classical stained glass windows and modern art paintings could be placed side by side. But in reality, all of this works beautifully together. Moreover, the house is home to a family with a child and a dog, which imposes even higher demands on the house: comfortable layout, plenty of storage space, washable and safe surfaces. The designer has done an excellent job!
