Bright Penthouse with Spacious Terrace in Portland
This is a 1923 building in Portland that was originally commercial and only became residential in 2008. In this penthouse, a family of four lives, and thanks to its spacious layout, there's enough room for everyone. The owners started with a light cosmetic renovation but became more and more enthusiastic as they renovated more rooms. During the process, the couple bought an adjacent apartment and ended up with a large-scale renovation that took 4 years. The main goal was to create a space that looked like a single whole. The primary colors were white and beige, which, by the way, blend beautifully with large panoramic windows. Interestingly, there is a kitchen zone and a guest zone, which means two kitchens — one for family use and one for entertaining guests. For small gatherings, they also equipped the terrace where it's pleasant to have dinner under the glow of city lights!
