Architectural Transformation in Spain
The architectural bureau Pablo Muñoz Payá Arquitectos transformed the interior space of a family house in the city of Petrer, Spain. The space of 138 square meters could not be expanded due to strict legislative restrictions, so the project authors had to work with a ready rectangular perimeter. By opening up the internal space, it was possible to organize it into three structured blocks, placing bathrooms and a kitchen in the center of the house. The living area includes a dining room and adjoins the kitchen, followed by a block with two bedrooms and bathrooms, and the layout is completed by the main bedroom with a bathroom and office. From the living room, you can access a 19-meter covered terrace with movable solar panels.
