The IBA Timber Prototype House project, implemented by ICD University of Stuttgart in Germany, represents a new perspective on microarchitecture. The 16.7 square meter house combines the benefits of traditional, affordable wooden construction with advancements in computer-aided design.

A fully integrated approach to design and manufacturing allows for gentle curving and bending of walls and ceilings, achieving the optimal ratio between available space and its shell, enhancing the architectural expressiveness of the building without the need for metal fasteners or glue.
