Apartment with 45 sq. m area in Taipei

Studio In2 designers have decorated the interior of a 45 square meter apartment in Taipei, Taiwan. The project was inspired by Eichler homes. Like an inner courtyard, the apartment features a central space around which all functional zones are grouped according to a ring of activity for greater openness. Designers used glass to enhance lighting and interaction between spaces. Simple and natural materials were selected to match contemporary style and create smooth lines. The design of the bookcase includes slanted angles and mirrors to reflect the greenery outside the window, bringing it inside the apartment. All of this allows residents to enjoy everyday life in a flow and feel a close connection between external and internal spaces.
