Before the designer of this compact duplex in Barcelona stood a challenging task: to fit a full kitchen, living room, and bedroom into just 40 square meters. The second floor was very helpful, where the bedroom and bathroom with a shower were located, and the sink had to be placed right in front of the bed. The first floor was dedicated to the kitchen-living room area. Everything you need is here: kitchenware is stored in shelves under the staircase, and dining can be done at a convenient bar counter that transitions into a bookshelf. Excellent use of space and ergonomics!
