New Stylish Life of Former Communal Apartment in Moscow (90 sq. m)
It's hard to believe, but in the Soviet era, this modern and very stylish apartment in Moscow was once a small communal flat with tiny rooms and inconvenient layout. "20 meters long and only 4 and a half meters wide" — recalls architect Olga Kolesnik her surprise when she first visited the site. After demolishing unnecessary walls, the long corridor was forgotten like a nightmare, and natural light could almost freely fill the rooms. The main color and architectural accent of the apartment is the bathroom next to the kitchen, clad in wooden panels and painted in a bright green color. Excellent work!
