Spring Motifs in Stalin-era Apartment: Designer's Flat in Moscow (74 sq m)
In her Moscow apartment, designer Olga Zaretskikh wanted to reflect the atmosphere and color palette that is missing in local latitudes for most of the year. The design was created in November when there was a strong desire for light and color, so the décor is dominated by yellow-green hues with plant motifs everywhere — from wallpaper on the walls to prints on pillows. Despite the fact that the apartment is located in a Stalin-era building and the layout left little room for maneuver (for example, the kitchen is very small with no possibility of expansion), the owner managed to create a true oasis of warmth and comfort. Beauty!
