Transformation of an Old Apartment in Barcelona9 photos

A minimalist interior of an apartment located in Barcelona, Spain, was designed by the studio EO arquitectura.

To achieve large and open spaces that increase lighting, designers simplified the layout. The result is a linear sequence of three large rooms of different proportions, connected by the structure of load-bearing walls. Each of these spaces has a specific functionality (living room, kitchen-dining room, bedroom), and the large openings connecting them create flexibility in their relationships. The only partitions that were not demolished are those forming service rooms near the patio.
