Apartment in Southern France
Apartment in Southern France
Project firm Brengues Le Pavec Architectes transformed an old apartment in the city of Montpellier in southern France. The SBL apartments represent a modern and cozy space, fully redesigned according to the client's wishes.
The living room was decided to be merged with the kitchen, while the latter was still placed in a glass cube, which provided the possibility of separating the rooms when necessary. To enhance the effect of individual spaces, tiles were used on the floor in the kitchen, while in the main part of the day zone, oak parquet lies. The central kitchen island resembles a precious stone in a jewelry box. The black wall in the living room contrasts with a large white library opposite.
The apartment contains a large number of carpentry items, which were created specifically for this project. It was also possible to organize a lot of hidden storage systems, including in each of the four bedrooms.
The bathroom repeats the contrast of black and white colors, also featuring tiles.
