Apartment with area of 42 square meters in Portugal

The studio Paulo Martins Arq&Design carried out the reconfiguration of an apartment with an area of 42 square meters in Portugal. The residence is located on the attic floor of a building from the 1970s, situated in an exclusive area of a small town, Norte do Vouga.

To ensure the most convenient placement of functional areas within the limited space, an additional internal volume was designed, clearly distinguishing itself from the overall background through the use of a contrasting color. This space includes the bathroom, kitchen, and household appliances.
