Duplex in Wrocław

Architectural bureau 3XA has designed the interior of a duplex in one of the new buildings in the old district of Wrocław, Poland. The two-story space of 85 square meters was developed with emphasis on enhancing functionality and meeting all the needs and desires of a modern urban dweller. As a result, the apartment successfully accommodated three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a study, and an open-plan living room combined with a kitchen.

An interesting design element is the staircase enclosed entirely in plywood, softening the stark white surroundings. Under the stairs are a small storage room, a dresser, and a refrigerator, whose integration helped save considerable space.
