Modern Cave in Tel Aviv

The architectural firm Pitsou Kedem Architects has realized another commendable project in Tel Aviv, Israel. The 100-square-meter residence is nothing but a modern cave.

This apartment is already several hundred years old, and every wall in it has its own story and character. The restoration project gave the opportunity to unite the rooms of the residence, open up the space and sea view, and also get rid of dark areas that never saw sunlight.

There are no doors in the apartment, except for the bathroom — all arch openings are accentuated with black color.
