Modern Classic in a Stalin-era Apartment in Moscow
Although this apartment is located in a beautiful Stalin-era building near Kutuzovsky Prospekt in Moscow, decorator Katerina Lashmanova had to work hard on re-planning to make the living space fully meet the needs of the young family owners. No open space at all: the living room, kitchen, and dining room were combined into one 30 sq. m. room, even though it now occupies almost half of the living area. To expand the space, Katerina also used mirror surfaces. As for the style of decoration, elegant classical forms with traditional French touches prevail. It looks very beautiful!
