Living Fairy Tale in Madrid
Design studio Egue y Seta transformed a 1950s house in Madrid (Spain) into a cozy family residence for a young couple with children. The house is surrounded by a small garden, and pots of lavender sit on the steps, tempting with their fragrance.
Next to it, a kitchen designed as an isolated space features pristine white cabinetry accented with warm wooden elements and a rough concrete floor. The same level also houses a home office and bathroom.
The children's and parents' bedrooms with separate bathrooms occupy the next floor. All these rooms have windows, so an abundance of natural light makes them incredibly bright and cozy.
On the top floor, a relaxation zone is designed where you can read books on a metal and mesh lounge chair, literally "floating" with friends. The attic also includes additional sleeping space for guests.
