Collector's Apartments by SL Project
Architectural bureau SL Project worked on the interior design of collector's apartments in Moscow. The residence, covering approximately 250 square meters, was formed by combining two apartments and is located in the Barkli Park residential complex. Its owner collects antique samovars and placed the finest pieces from his collection right in the living room.
As one of the classic elements, architects used marble. Additionally, the living room features a blue granite structure concealing a sliding partition system to separate the kitchen. Even the carpet on the floor, with its pattern, resembles stone. The interior is balanced by the abundant use of wood.
The remaining zones of the apartments can be divided into two blocks: to the left of the entrance are children's rooms with a separate bathroom, while to the right are designed for the parents' bedroom with a bathroom, wardrobe, and study. The study is used more for relaxation and listening to favorite music. His private vinyl record collection and guitars from legendary musicians also found their place in the study.
Architects preferred a gray-beige palette, with blue as an accent color, which turned out to be the most appreciated by the client.
