Penthouse in Israel
When architects from OMY studio first saw the space of this 155-square-meter penthouse in Holon, Israel, they couldn't ignore its height and the breathtaking view from the windows. Their choice was to focus on a few elements that could match the proportions of the room.
The living room interior creates a feeling of softness thanks to the presence of textiles in several types — from mint-green velvet sofa upholstery to a vintage collection carpet. The heart of the living room is the home cinema and the surrounding shelving made from a copper frame and aluminum mesh, which gives the space an industrial yet friendly character.
Dining room lights are made from thin metal wire, making them almost transparent and not blocking the view through the large panoramic windows.
The family of five who live in the apartment enjoys hosting guests, so a large dining table and appropriately sized sofa were chosen.
The kitchen is filled with cabinets that create a minimalist and organized space.
The bedroom stands out with a wardrobe built from thin metal profiles and frosted glass, elegantly complementing the minimalist room setting.
