Apartment in Moscow by INT2 Studio
Apartment in Moscow by INT2 Studio
Young St. Petersburg architectural and design studio INT2 has designed the interior of an apartment in Moscow. The residence, covering 56 square meters, is located in a pre-revolutionary building. The apartment's "shell" is designed with references to French neoclassicism — white walls, high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, natural parquet, plaster cornices, bouffants, and wooden shutters. The white walls serve as a base for play of light and color, emphasize the proportions of the room, and highlight the architectural form's purity.
Modern elements of interior design contrast in color, material, and stylistic approach with classical ones, yet complement and enrich each other. Thus, the objects acquire individuality while creating a cohesive architectural space.
