Architects from Studio 211 designed the interior of an apartment located in a Stalin-era skyscraper on Red Gates Square in Moscow. The project authors aimed to preserve and highlight the original features of the space. The long corridor was equipped with storage systems, parquet was laid "in a tree" pattern, and ceiling beams were retained, painted white to further emphasize the high ceilings. The interior is done in a light color scheme, which together with large windows admitting sunlight into the home, transforms the apartment into a pleasant space that is not devoid of history and unique character.
