Apartment with 70 Square Meters in Taiwan
An apartment with 70 square meters in Taipei, Taiwan, designed for a young couple, their dog, and a future child, was created by Marty Chou Architecture studio.
In this single room apartment, architects organized a series of blocks where specific functions are concentrated. The interior resembles a small city: functional blocks are seen as independent architectural structures, while the surrounding space is like streets where daily life flows. Living in this apartment feels like wandering through a city, sometimes entering open spaces and sometimes discovering unexpected cozy corners.
This unusual layout makes a small apartment comfortable and spacious. Although the residence is designed as a unified space, sliding doors hidden in the walls can, when needed, separate the apartment into two distinct bedrooms.
