The original purpose of this apartment in Kyiv was to be used as an office, but later the owners changed their plans and decided to turn it into a living space rented out. The client, a progressive and bold woman, wanted to create a stylish and comfortable loft with minimal investments. Designer Yuri Zimenko from Design Studio Yuriy Zimenko managed to understand her requirements.

The style and concept of the design were inspired by the room itself. By removing old plaster from the walls, the authentic brick masonry was revealed, which became the guiding element in the interior design. The color scheme also followed the brick's tone: dark shades and oak flooring perfectly complemented its texture.

The apartment is functionally divided into two zones: the guest and private areas. The guest area includes a living room, dining area, and a small reading nook that together form a space for relaxation.

The TV area is uniquely decorated: part of the old plaster left by previous tenants was painted in light lavender, while the brick wall serves as its frame. Classical wooden furniture unexpectedly blends harmoniously with industrial metal side tables and a media cabinet. The accent red color, which found its echo in the textile furnishings, ties the entire composition together.

The private area houses a bedroom, wardrobe, an improvised workspace, and a small cozy kitchen. Room zoning is achieved through flooring and lighting. The sleeping area, wardrobe in the form of an open storage system hidden behind a textile screen, and the workspace blend smoothly. Bright textiles soften the restrained color palette.

Aesthetic elements in each zone include paintings and flowers: wall art creates a feeling of being in a mini-gallery, while flowers break up the dark tones and bring a touch of nature to urban walls.
