Smart Apartment on Taiwan37 photos
The Jade Residence in Taipei, Taiwan, eclectically combines organic, almost rural features with the simplicity and high-tech nature of modern architecture. The 176 square meter apartment was designed by Ryan Lai Architects studio.
The project was made with care for the health of residents, which is reflected in several of its features. First of all, only environmentally friendly construction materials were used. Wooden elements, as well as the types of glue used have very low formaldehyde content. The walls are made of architectural concrete and painted with antibacterial and anti-mold paint. In addition, a heat recovery ventilation system maintains good air quality and suppresses noise.
Of course, the most important feature of these apartments is their smart home system, which allows controlling the apartment with just one touch of a finger on the remote. Simply using a smartphone or tablet, you can set up lighting, curtains, air conditioning, video surveillance system, home cinema and more.
These high technologies meet features that pay homage to the Asian location of the house, expressed in the use of organic materials, rustic furniture details and overall Eastern style in individual design elements.
