Two-Story Apartment in Lisbon
Located in the developing neighborhood of Lisbon, Portugal, the B.A. Residency, with a total area of 180 square meters, occupies the top two floors of a building. The project, developed by Atelier Data studio, allocates the lower floor for communal spaces and the upper floor for private areas. The lower floor spaces are arranged along a wall stretching 11.5 meters, featuring sliding panels that allow for flexible functional zones as needed. White panels conceal the stove and kitchen cabinet. The wall then transitions into a wooden shelf, and upon reaching the living room, serves as storage enclosed by sliding doors. Together, these elements create a minimalist frame for the living room, which is also distinguished by vibrant paintings in orange and green tones, echoing the color of chairs and foliage on the adjacent open terrace and the orange hue of the semitransparent dining chairs.
The first floor also includes a separate service area, comprising a study, laundry room, bathroom, and staircase. The upper floor accommodates three bedrooms and two bathrooms, all situated under a sloped mansard ceiling with large rectangular windows that flood the rooms with sunlight.
