Apartment with Carrara effect in Vilnius9 photos

The melody of this interior is composed of gray undertones that piano and pianissimo sound in the range between black and white, creating an elegant Carrara effect — a play of light and shadow. The project of a small apartment — BW apartment — in Vilnius, Lithuania, was developed by YCL Studio.

In contrast to this, the other part of the apartment, where the blinds are always open, is filled with light. You want to stay alert, do something and enjoy the daytime activity. Several colorful elements intrude into this strict interior: a blue sofa, a red floor lamp, a painting on the wall — as cheerful and welcoming foreigners, slightly breaking the sterile seriousness of this concept.
