Three-Level Apartment in Milan

Milazzo Apartments are a 90 square meter residence located in Milan, Italy, in a densely built-up urban area. Therefore, Archiplanstudio aimed to maximize the efficiency of using the advantages of an apartment with high space. As a result, three-level apartments were created, one of the levels being a mansard and another being a basement.

The floor in one of the first-floor zones is made of glass, allowing light to penetrate into the lower, basement level. Sunlight passing through the glass floor is also filtered by a rafter wooden screen, creating an impressive graphic pattern of light and shadow.

The interior is filled with furniture and accessories that go beyond conventional commercial design, creating an unparalleled individual space.
