The interior of this flat on the 22nd floor of a new building in Dunguan, China, combines elements of Western design and Eastern lifestyle. Architects from Minas Kosmidis and YuQiang & Partners Interior Design have shown traditions of different parts of the world within one project. The 250 square meter apartments are designed for a family of four. The setting features minimalist furniture, a brown color palette, wooden panels and marble flooring that create a cozy atmosphere and help distinguish different functional zones. The living area includes a lounge with a large sofa and access to a terrace. Nearby is a closed-off section with a table where the family spends time during tea ceremonies. Tea ceremonies are not only a tradition but also part of everyday life in China, so designers paid special attention to this area. Metallic details in furniture and finishes appear in the kitchen and other rooms, serving as a connecting element throughout the space. The main bedroom is decorated with Greek walnut surfaces. A wall made of metal and glass separates the marble bathroom. Another recurring element is built-in furniture, also used in two children's rooms.
