30 Square Meter Apartment in Paris14 photos
This small apartment in Paris with a surface area of 30 square meters was designed by architect Richard Gibling. Previously, the space was quite dark, but the modern update of the interior was specially designed for a young and ambitious couple. Small rooms were replaced with a bright living room to optimize the use of space and increase storage zones. A restrained and secluded new bedroom also hides a spacious area for belongings. Raising the bed makes the space feel like a comfortable cabin, and the wide sliding door allows it to be isolated from the living room. At the entrance is a long wardrobe wall with four niches covered in white and birch plywood panels. This multi-purpose piece of furniture accommodates electric meters, appliances, storage, refrigerator, wine cabinet, television, wardrobe and much more. The joining points of the former walls were highlighted with white concrete. These graphic lines enliven the classic wooden floor and tell the story of the former Paris apartment.
