Apartment in Tel Aviv (Israel) in a building from 1950 was renovated by architects from Mayan Studio. Previously, the 67 square meter space was divided into many small rooms, which lacked natural light. Windows on the front and back facades were the only means of airflow throughout the interior. To create cross-ventilation and improve lighting, architects designed a window in the center of the kitchen leading to the main bedroom. Interior finishing is done in white and complemented with a small amount of black elements. The second bedroom has a glass wall, giving the interior a sense of more space. Additional curtains can be opened to allow natural light and used for privacy when needed.
