This minimalist space, located in New York, was designed by Elizabeth Roberts Design. The elongated room of a former artistic loft with an area of 139 square meters was renovated into a two-bedroom apartment for a family of three. Designers carefully selected original furniture and interior elements that ultimately became the main features of the new space. Saved items include high double doors leading to the master bedroom and a 150-year-old porcelain bathtub. Modern decorative details such as floors made of weathered oak and redwood windows complemented the interior without detracting from the original character of the space. The steel bookshelves were custom-made to showcase the extensive art and book collection owned by the couple.
