Apartment with area of 49 square meters in Vilnius

The client's request was to make an apartment with an area of 49 square meters cozy and spacious. At the same time, the client was satisfied with the overall layout and did not want any major renovations. Architect Normundas Vilkas swapped the sofa and TV in the living room; in the bathroom, he replaced the bathtub with a shower cabin and moved the door to another location, which allowed placing a built-in washing machine and a niche for the sink. The walls in the hallway and living room were clad with wooden panels made of parquet flooring with concrete inserts. The decorative effect was created by a minimalist geometric pattern of black lines that repeats in the design of the panels and built-in furniture in the living room and bedroom. The simple but expressive design of the lighting system above the dining table corresponds to the overall style of the apartment.
