Apartment for Tourists in Barcelona

The project authors MIEL Arquitectos combined the kitchen and living room into a shared space, while the two bedrooms are located at opposite ends of the apartment. The kitchen is the heart of the apartment — a pleasant place to chat and have a meal. A mirror wall creates a rich play of reflections, with bursts of color added through textiles, lampshades with bright cords, and wall art. Together, these elements create an atmosphere more reminiscent of a DJ console than a cozy grandmother's kitchen.

Both bedrooms offer a space uncluttered by decoration, with simple white walls. The wardrobes feature custom-designed doors, and the bedheads follow the contours of the original walls.
