Beautiful Interior on a Limited Budget in Kyiv (42 sq. m)20 photos

For the design of this 42 sq. m rented apartment in Kyiv, designer Maya Baklan approached the project with great seriousness — she really wanted to prove that even with a limited budget and under time constraints, it's possible to create a high-quality and beautiful interior. Before work began, the apartment was in poor condition — the flat in an old building from 1896 on Podil needed a full renovation and major reconfiguration. The new interior has almost no ready-made furniture solutions: some items were custom-made, others were found at various flea markets, and there are also bold design choices such as colorful wallpapers on the bedroom ceiling. In the end, it turned out quite cute and practical!
