Interior of an Apartment in Moscow — A Fresh Look at Classic Design10 photos
The main wishes of the owners of this 88 sq. m. apartment in Moscow were to create an interior that would not grow boring: classic but not stale, made of natural materials, yet not too minimalist. Designer Nadezhda Zотовa created an interior in gray-beige tones with touches of mustard, olive, and lilac for a young family. The apartment features a living room combined with the kitchen, a bedroom, a study, and a spacious bathroom. Despite all the elegance of this space, it is also very functional: the designer provided many storage areas — built-in wardrobes in the hallway are so well integrated into the wall that they are barely noticeable, and the kitchen island holds the household appliances and dishes. Some furniture elements, such as the bookcase and media console, were custom-made specifically for this project. The interior incorporates elements from different styles and eras, and the color palette and exquisite details make this design both conservative and unconventional.
