Loft and Retro in the Center of Paris
Today we have very interesting and stylish housing on Montmartre, combining loft and retro of the first third of the previous century! Loft is reflected in basic elements such as brick untreated walls, high wooden ceilings, a lot of metal details, and metal-toned interior items (chandelier, staircase, shelves, doors). Retro takes us back to the time when Van Gogh and Mayakovsky, Matisse and Monet, Manet and Picasso sat in the cafes of Montmartre. It seems like they sat in these armchairs, so vividly and subtly are the features of the furniture of that era depicted, and the mirrors above the staircase are a light allusion to Picasso's work, who loved such geometrically streamlined forms. A light drape in fresh tones does not weigh down the eye, but rather slightly refreshes the overall look of large spacious rooms, mirrors and glass visually enlarge and add airiness. Montmartre without a terrace would not be the same, and in this design it looks perfectly harmonious. Paris, Montmartre, a large townhouse and unlimited creative freedom – this is what this unique object embodies!
