Apartment for Young Couple in Lviv
Architects Andriy Hir and Oksana Sinkivych from Formaline Studio designed the interior of an apartment in Lviv, Ukraine. The Apartment 99 project was realized according to the order of a young couple, whose main requirements were integrating a panoramic city view into the residence interior, creating a secluded sleeping area, and having functional storage space. To maximally open up and fill the 50 sq. meter room with light while staying within budget constraints, the architects not only had to reconfigure the layout but also opted for a simple and clear interior over an elaborate decor. The architects removed unnecessary walls, using only the dining table and floor coverings as zoning elements. Lighting fixtures and textiles were specially designed by Formaline Studio for this project.
