Clouds and Sun as Inspiration for Interior Design

Clouds with rays of sunlight are what remind this snow-white interior of a house in Naperville, California. The homeowner and interior designer, Benjamin Dong, decided to give his home a soft character. Here, white, light gray, beige, and wonderful yellow accents dominate. The decor combines old-world charm with modernity: some furniture pieces were custom-made, others Benjamin happened to find at flea markets. Nature is also present in the interior, with plants in pots, fresh flowers in vases, or dried flowers in each room. The sky theme is expressed in two wonderful paintings: Wade Hofers painting of a sun-drenched sky decorates the kitchen, while an original marble cloud complements the living room. We also really liked the citrus bowls with lemons and oranges arranged throughout the home — a tribute, perhaps, to that sunny region where the house is located. The interior is decorated in pleasant hues that are a delight to look at. A beautiful home!
