Modern Apartment in Central London
Architects TG-STUDIO combined two separate apartments on the second floor of a brick house built in the 1880s in central London. The Queens Gate project features four bedrooms with bathrooms and a spacious living area formed by merging three rooms. Cold concrete walls and ceilings are paired with warm wooden floors, marble bathroom finishes for the owners, and modern furniture that does not overload the space. The apartment residents frequently travel to their homeland in Libya, making it extremely important for the home to exude a cozy atmosphere that aligns with the classic building. Furthermore, as the owner runs a network of design furniture stores in Africa, she personally selects the decor.
