Two-Level Apartment in Oslo
photo: IngerMarieGrini
The project studio Haptic Architects designed the interior of the Idunsgate apartments in Oslo, Norway. The apartment is located on the upper floor of a building constructed in the 19th century in the city center. The client purchased the residential space with the intention of decorating it in a loft style, combining two floors and making it more open. The architects were given a great opportunity to explore every corner of the residence and create a volumetric layout. As such, the bathroom became three-level, the living room is generously filled with sunlight, the kitchen is attractive due to the built-in fireplace, and the pristine steel staircase divides the space invitingly upward.
