Architect's Loft in Copenhagen
Lead architect MORTEN BO JENSEN of the Vipp design bureau presented his personal space, reflecting not only his character but also his professionalism. The spacious loft in New York style occupies a 1900s old factory building and is located in the industrial area of Copenhagen, Denmark. The architect lives here together with his girlfriend, a graphic designer, and his five-year-old twins. The main office of Vipp is located nearby, and it's just a short walk to the city center.
The architect started the project from scratch. After much contemplation about how he wants to live, preference was given to functionality and simplicity in everything—from architecture and interior design to location. The living space is adorned with furniture created by the homeowner himself, which he is especially proud of. The loft's interior features a calm and clear visualization of daily life interwoven with style and aesthetic sense. Everything is designed to be useful, serve the owners, and simplify their lives. The open space is emphasized by streams of light, sliding doors, and original ceiling beams running through the entire residence.
