City Loft for Unserious People in Kyiv15 photos

This apartment for a young family is located in one of the most beautiful places in Kyiv, on the slopes of the Dnieper River. The space is bathed in morning and evening sunlight from both sides. Architect Slava Balbek and his creative team proposed to decorate the spacious 250 square meter residence in a city loft style with minimalist elements. They created an individual interior for unserious people, which turned out to be humorous and tailored to taste. We see 30 square meters of rusty wall, a six-meter table, and a four-meter chandelier—all of them found their place in this interesting apartment. Glass partitions divide the entire light space into several functional zones, but at the same time, electric curtains allow one button press to divide it according to desire and mood, adding a theatrical effect to the apartment. The residence reflects freedom, the state of the soul, and the image of the people for whom it was created.
