Designer Olga Akulova beautifully demonstrated what it means to phrase «visually expand a small space». This two-room apartment in Kyiv can boast of central location in the best district of the city, yet not large area, which is only 50 sq. m. But after a recent thoughtful renovation that included demolition of most partitions and sills, as well as skillful re-planning, the living space seemed to double in size. The interior deserves special praise — a pleasant warm color palette, a library, large windows, all subdued but very cozy, promoting good rest. An excellent project!
